Fire prevention measures for cables

What should we do if the cable catches fire?

1. Apply fireproof coating on the cable surface.

2. Wrap the fire-proof parts of the cable with fire-proof tape.

3. The holes where the cable passes through the wall, tray bottom and shaft shall be tightly sealed with fire-resistant materials to prevent the expansion of fire surface caused by the diffusion and extension of high-temperature flue gas when the cable is on fire.

4. Set heat-resistant fire barriers between cable layers, partition walls and fire prevention] to avoid flashover and expansion of fire between cable layers.

5. Wrap the cable with thermal insulation and flame resistance data. When the cable is on fire around, the wrapped cable is isolated from the fire by thermal insulation and flame resistance data to avoid burning. If the cable itself is on fire, the fire can be extinguished due to the lack of oxygen in the binding body, so as to prevent the fire from being extended to the binding body.

In addition to the above, we should also choose the data of cable selection.
